Unleashing the Power of Youth in Stark County through CAST Students

#CASTkids is a dedicated group of students from various schools across Stark County, united by their commitment to Caring and Serving Together. Inside their schools and out in their communities, these young leaders are making an indelible impact through acts of love, kindness, and service.

Aliquippa Information Meeting

Pizza and soda will be provided.

CAST will provide all permission forms that evening.

We will provide a packing list and answer any questions.

 

Please plan to bring at least 50% percent of the trip cost as a down payment to the parent informational meeting.

Blessing Boot Camp

Date: June 4th – July 30th, 2024

Time: 12 – 3 PM

 

This summer Blessing Boot Camp will take place on Tuesday afternoons from 12pm-3pm.

Each week we will be playing games, having snacks and most importantly… serving and giving back to our community through various service learning opportunities and projects. Blessing Boot Camp will begin Tuesday, June 4th and will conclude Tuesday, July 30th. We will NOT have Blessing Boot camp on Tuesday, June 18th.

Please note that we understand that many families travel and many students participate in other summer day camps throughout the summer… this is OKAY! We love that students have the summer to explore new hobbies and spend much needed quality time with their family. If your child would like to participate in Blessing Boot Camp but is unable to attend every session please sign them up…we would love to have them join us whenever they are available.

Our #CASTkids program is currently thriving at 9 schools in Stark County including Early College High School, Early College Academy, McKinley High School, Central Catholic High School, Claymont High School, AIM Academy, STEAM Academy, and Youtz Elementary School.

You can have CAST at your school! We invite anyone interested in initiating CAST at their school to:

  • Contact us today!
  • Find a staff member within your school building who can become our CAST liaison.

If your school doesn’t have an after-school CAST program, you can still join us in service!

Parents, too, are welcome to serve with their students, contributing to our mission of fostering a culture of kindness, care, and sincere service.
