I had so much fun working with others, watching the transformation of the Canton school’s landscape, meeting new people, and building true relationships with people I “knew” but didn’t. I pictured what the students of this school would feel when they walked into this academy on the FIRST day and realized Jesus was sending me a message…being a servant is the greatest blessing in the world, not writing a check, but serving others as HE has taught us.

I love volunteering!!! For me, it’s all about giving back to the community and, being the social person I am, I love meeting new people. My motto is I’m Blessed To Be A Blessing.

Since volunteering at the Foodbank, hunger no longer feels like a vague concept mentioned in the news. It takes on faces and personalities; it becomes personal. When you’re giving yourself away and sharing it with others, it gives you a feeling of fulfillment and self-worth.
